Creating good content, and optimizing it correctly, will give your website a ranking in the search engines, but probably not as much as you want it to rank. It is the number of backlinks and the quality of backlinks – links to other sites that point to you – near your site that ultimately determine whether your site makes it to page 1 of the search results.
Generally for a keyword to rank on 1 page, your site needs to have more relevant, good quality backlinks than sites currently ranked on 1 page for that keyword. Revisiting backlinks that already on 1 page is a good place to start those sites. Find out who is linking to them and ask if they will also link to your business site.
You should also ask partners / suppliers / customers / friends to link to your site and ask them to build their own relationships with businesses and bloggers with related sites and also link them to your site. SEO results do not come immediately, so the backlinks you acquire may not be credited by search engines for weeks, however, your ranking will improve over time and you will get more and more visitors to your website.
How to get the right keywords?
Before you begin keyword research, you need to prepare some answers with yourself.
